Dear Parents and Guardians:

The South Western School District takes part in the National School Meal Program and nutritious meals are served every school day to all students. A variety of local fresh fruits and vegetables are served daily from various local vendors. Milk choices are served with every meal.

Effective November 1, 2017, Food Services will offer breakfast to all students, even on 1 or 2 hours delays. The menu will be limited to cold  “Grab-N-Go” items which meet the requirements of the National School Lunch and Breakfast Program.

If you have any questions about the food service program, the Free & Reduced Lunch and Breakfast Program, POS computerized cafeteria accounts, or your child’s special nutritional needs, please contact me at (717) 632-2500.

Sincerely,

Crystal Gauss

Director of Food and Nutrition Services

SchoolCafe

There have been a few changes with www.Schoolcafe.com as they have been busy working on consolidating a number of websites into this one site for all of your food service needs. With this new site you are able to add funds to your student accounts, check account balances, view transaction history, set up low balance email notifications, apply for free or reduced meals, and also view the breakfast and lunch menu for each building.

For your convenience the SchoolCafe app can be downloaded to all of your smart devices.

For online payments please click onto the School Cafe tab on the left side or the icon below to add money to your student’s account.  You can also view transactions and set up low balance notifications for no charge.   There is a $1.95 fee to add money online, however, if you add at least $50 you will be credited 4% so you will actually get 4% of you payment as a credit. This applies to any amount from $50-$100. Please contact the food service office with any questions.
