Modern Music Masters (Tri-M) is the international honor society recognizing secondary music students for their musical ability, academic excellence, school involvement, and community service. Tri-M is a program of MENC: The National Association for Music Education, the largest non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of music education. Through its many programs, activities, publications, and conferences, MENC addresses all aspects of music education and works to ensure that every student can be a part of a balanced, comprehensive, and high-quality program of music instruction.

Tri-M seeks to provide:

  1. students the chance to learn new skills through service activities and taking leadership of chapter projects.
  2. all members of the music program- including orchestra, chorus and band students to work together toward common goals under the leadership of school faculty.
  3. service and community activities to show the entire community how important music is in our school, state, and nation.
